Abstract
Digital technology in the predictable planning on patients with dental wear
Functional aesthetic rehabilitation requires systematic planning of restorative treatment and multidisciplinary treatment coordination. The incorporation of new digital technologies in aesthetic analysis facilitates the preview of a final result that guides the entire treatment, making it more predictable and accepted by patients; Similarly, the use of digital methods in the dynamic analysis of function and, more specifically, of occlusion, make treatments more stable and durable over time.
The incorporation of digital technology facilitates communication with patients and between the different components of the team; likewise, the achievement of our therapeutic objectives gives rise to an improvement in precision, shortening the duration of treatments, the number of appointments, all this without losing the aesthetic results and the functional comfort of the patients.
Carrying out a correct diagnosis and planning based on risk control and prognosis allow us to choose the most appropriate treatment using the most appropriate techniques, technology and materials; With all this we managed to restore the smile and the function of the patients with a predictable and stable result over time. =
